Olafur Eliasson | Waterfalls in New York

The exhibition of Olafur Eliasson at MoMA will open at the Museum of Modern Art in New York on April 20th through June 30th. Olafur Eliasson is a Danish-Icelandic artist living in Berlin. Known for site-specific, immersive works that put museum-goers into an environment of the artist's devising, his work became well known throughout the world after a very successful exhibition, The Weather Project, at the Tate Modern in London.
Take Your Time will coincide with The New York City Waterfalls project. A real event, a series of illuminated waterfalls will rise out of New York City's East River. The 90- to 120-foot tall installations will be visible from multiple points in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Governors Island.
